Wow this camp ground is amazing. My family was at lake side and we had a great time. We really enjoyed the scenery and the deer lake located just steps from the campsite. The park is well maintained and the staff are very friendly. What we thought were great was they sell fire wood from the service truck as the park ranger drives around. I wish more campsite would offer this service..we would definitely come again..

Enjoyed camping here. The pads were quite small and close to each other, we got a double with two other families, and it was barely bigger than some of the singles were have stayed on. The lake is nice (but watch that swimmer's itch) and there was a good playground. Pit toilets, not more or less clean than you'd expect. Harrison nearby has a few stores for amenities, and a very nice beach.

Good walking path, was able to bring a stroller along the Hicks Lake path as well. Would have been nice if there was more info on where to find the paths. Very nice scenery!

It's lovely here! The water is nice and warm. The water is clean! It is usually pretty calm in terms of traffic. The only downside is that it is "NO DOGS ALLOWED"

It is a good place for family and friends. Though on Saturday July 28 & Sunday July 29 there was a lot of loud voices and laughter, and screaming at 11pm-1:30am which there was no regulation or parks person to stop it. Or the drunk drivers that came in to use the outhouse, then leave. Then some came up to us on Tuesday night @ 10:20pm to tell us to turn down our Disney songs (we had children with us 6 of them) I found that ridiculous.... Other than that, it was a peaceful time there.
