Good food, good service, sometimes exceptional service and food but a bit overpriced because it's a resort town.
Very mixed feelings about this place. Food was good. And my wife said the cheese cake was the best she ever had. The service was also exceptional. However, we were given NO ice on a very hot day. Also, the entire outdoor area looked like it wasn't cleaned all season. Everything was grimy.
My partner and I went there on a Saturday night. They were the most attentive staff I have ever had, and our steaks were probably one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. Would Definetly go back.
Had 2 great experiences all with 3 hours. We arrived and contemplated sitting down or taking our food to go. Decided to sit and they even cleared a table outside from a guest who was paying to leave. That said, the inside has two different locations to sit. A more cafe windowed location and a place deeper within the interior thats more private/relaxing. Only minutes after ordering we realized we where to be late for an appointment. Within that time, my grilled croissant sandwich arrived! I quickly ate as we took the rest to go. 3 hours later we returned and ate lunch where I ordered the Montreal smoked meat sandwich. To my amazement, both times the meat within the sandwich was almost too hot to bite right in! This is rare for any place supporting sandwiches as deli meat tends to be colder the further you bite into a sandwich which shows dedication. The staff was friendly and remembered us from the morning. They asked how our appointment was which didnt make us feel like another faceless person in a crowd. Great place!
Had a great meal here with my wife. The prawn Diablo and the duck were delicious. Our service was good as well. The reason why it's not 5 stars is that we were disappointed with our cocktails. Mainly my wife ordered the espresso martini. They attempted to flambee the chocolate on top but it ended up having a propane/chemical taste to it. The server was great about having it remade without the chocolate on top but as a couple who love great cocktails, there was something left to be desired. We'll definitely be back to try again
