My family and I came to Harrison from Vancouver and we had lunch here. The food was very good. We had the green chicken salad, double bacon burger, and the calamari. The food came out very fresh! The service was great!
I think they should change the name of this place to Harrison Nothingburger. Not that there is anything inherently wrong with their burgers, but when you have the word "hamburger" in you name, it makes sense to putt a little effort in. With this place, it seems like they just order the burger parts from a food delivery service and slap it all together. The meat patty they use is about the same size as a kids burger at most chain burger joints. For the price they charge, you can find a better burger for the same amount. Having said that, their fries were pretty good.
This place should not be open.To any one who has a food allergy... stay far away! We went here yesterday to grab a burger for my husband. He is severely allergic to soy, so before ordering we asked the lady working there whether there is any soy in the burgers. She said she doesn't think so but she'd double check - the other lady working up front immediately said "no" when we asked is there any soy (as if she'd been asked this a million times). We even went as far as to go into the different areas that may have soy (the bun, the sauce) and she still said "no". She led us to feel very confident that it was ok. We had boated to Harrison so were headed out to find a remote place to picnic. He'd had a bite of his burger on the way and immediately could feel his mouth and gums tingling. He said and knew that there WAS soy in this burger. We were lucky enough to not have been too far away (can't imagine what would have happened had we waited a bit before having lunch in the middle of nowhere). His throat closed up and he wasn't able to breath properly. We had to call 911. Needless to say the day was ruined. He ended up being able to come home after the given oxygen, and adrenaline. We went back to speak with the restaurant, turned out soy was in the patty, it was 75% of the burger patty... being a restaurant isn't this your kind of one and only issue, that you serve food safely?! I'm beyond shocked. Although they said they were sorry they didn't show any signs of trying to remedy their nearly fatal mistake. The tole that something like this takes on someones body never mind your mental health.... Had he not been an adult and a young child instead the story would have ended very differently. Stay far far away from this place - they don't seem to take their customers health seriously.
Very nice and tasty and fast serving. The whole crowd like the chicken burger. The size is great.
Nice place for a tourist place food was fast, good and the guys running it we're great and very polite.
