Spouse and I come here every year for our Anniversary week. We look forward to it and its always special and exciting! The staff are so friendly and organized. They really have top-notch customer service and care. Thank you so much:) Till next year:)
Overall, it was a good stay, but expensive and pools were just okay. I have included all my thoughts on our stay while at the resortNegative:-System was down when checked in so it took a lot longer than usual (30-40min) and its super hard to hear anyone, when checking in, because of the tile floor and how the desk is- Since system was down, we couldnt charge anything to the room (during full duration of stay), instead of paying cash/debit all week (for things such as pool side bar)- A lot has to be remodeled. We were told that we were in the "newer part", but it definitely did not seem so. Also, lots of units don't have air conditioning apparently, don't even know how that's even a thing- We were overcharged for the first night- The pools were all not very warm, considering this was a "hot springs resort", I've been to a hot spring and those pools, were not the same. This resort was colder- Not a big surprise, but the hotel was expensive, minimum $295 a night, even with a wedding party discount.- Why aren't there towels at the pool?! Just why- And why are the luggage carts locked up, so I have to ask to use one? Annoying when other hotels dont do thisPositive:- We were there for a wedding and they were helpful with helping us set everything up and with letting us borrow random things, to help us. - The setting was beautiful outside, especially for weddings- Staff was all helpful and understood our wedding needs
The amenities at the hotel are outstanding, and everything was clean and well-cared-for. The pools were lovely, and staff was extremely courteous and fast. My only complaint is that the bed was EXTREMELY hard. Considering this is a spa and the rooms are not cheap, and one is coming to relax and soothe their body, having a super hard bed (like the hardest I have ever slept on in a hotel in my life) is rather unpleasant, to say the least. Everything else about my experience was fantastic, and I will definitely come again, but I am seriously considering getting some kind of mat or something to cushion the bed next time. Softer mattresses would up my review to 5 stars!
We stayed in a cottage. Parking right at the cottage. It was very cute, bathroom nicely redone. Fireplace, fridge, coffee maker. Pools are great! Natural setting. (bring towels from your room tho!) And nice two pools are open till 1:00 for adults. Pool bar after 5:30, with a great drink menu! Checkout was easy. Grounds and gardens are lovely. Trail behind property to the hotspring source was a very pretty and easy walk. It's close to everything you need within walking distance. With a couple very nice choices. You can use pool before and after checkout!! Highly recommend.
Historical, unpretentious, beautiful, relaxed. Year round Harrison hot springs is a great place to stay. The outdoor pools and indoor pools are nice. The water is not particularly intense in terms of natural mineral content in smell or feel. It is nice though. The surrounding area is quite beautiful. The service is always helpful and friendly. I Always enjoy my stay.
