Pretty good place to camp. 2 mins drive to the Harrison city. But one thing I dont like is some of there camping ground are to close to the main rd, lots of traffic drive through there kind of noise but the others deep inside are pretty good. Nice and quite.
Harrison springs is a nice and comfortable facility. I was able to book three sites side by side and management was super accommodating. The facility is a 5- 7 min walk to the lake. I would definelty recommend this camp ground.
Close to the lake, a bike would be preferred. Cute sites, little ducks and hens/rosters running around. Nicely treed and buses between sites. Various options, ours only had a picnic table, no fire pit. Nice washroom facilities with showers and electrical outlets. I believe you can buy firewood here. Late at night they close the gate so if youre coming back after 11 maybe let them know or get them to show you how to open it.
The person that runs this place needs to take some lessons on how to deal with people. Very rude and made us feel unwelcome right from the beginning. Too crowded as they are jamming as many people in as possible to milk every dime out of their property. The only reason we stayed was that we had prebooked the spot and there was no others available on short notice. We will NEVER go back and I would recommend anyone even considering this park to please do your research and look around at the other sites. For what it cost, it was a bad decision, dirty, and on top of it all the Asian women at check-in is quite racist to white people lol. Only in Canada can this happen and they can getaway with it. Good luck!
spent 5 nights overall there was its ups and downs 1st site she gave us there was no way our van and tent would fit. Asked for another site and was given one. Sites are small and close together which makes it easy to hear everything next door. loved all the trees and ducks. Bathrooms were clean which is nice. Daughter loved the tire swing and little tree house. There is construction site next door that starts up ar 8am. They need to put oil on their chains wouldn't be as bad. Werid you are in a little forest the middle of a suburb area. down the price 3 of us in tent to camp with power was $65 night they charge extra for each person after the first 2. Nickle and dime everything. It was very loud on a couple of the nights. 1 guys putting on his own guitar show with bad singing at 11pm. With small camp ground you hear everything.
