Going above and beyond when it comes to writing an online review is not something Id normally do. However, when it comes to this particular experience, I feel it is necessary. Upon my arrival and checking in to the room, although the room appeared to be decently clean, the bedding was not - sheets with stains along with the pillow covers. The counter tops also had several stains. The smell of the room was horrific as well. These were all things my girlfriend and I were going to overlook because it was the last room available in Harrison Hot Springs for long weekend. We didnt care that it was a cheap room and yes, we didnt expect it to be high class nor even average. An unfortunate family emergency happened within 20 minutes of checking in to the room and my girlfriend and I were forced to leave. I went back to the office area so that I could explain the situation to the receptionist. After explaining the conversation, I kindly asked if it was possible to at least receive a partial refund since I knew a full refund was not going to happen. The lady refused to give any form of compensation nor refund, even though it was still very early in the day, around 3:20pm, only 20 minutes after check in time, which is 3:00pm.What I think is the best part about this whole situation is that I reserved the room that sleeps over 10 people because it has 4 double beds and a pull out couch. The room was $208 for the night due to its size and how many people it sleeps.
Last minute choice. Our original hotel was having electrical issues so couldn't stay. This place cost more and was not great. Cobwebs in doorways and on fan that didn't work. Bathroom fan sounded like it would take off. Holes in pull out couch, microwave would only work off reheat button, fridge had no temp control and freezer was in desparate need of defrost. Patio door and main door were both hard to open and lock. Couldn't lock main door with key. On the upside, great location and working a.c..
Alright where do I start. I was a great view right across from the lake. That was basically the only good thing. The bathroom was moldy, the screen door didn't work, when we got there the toilet was plugged and worst of all there were fleas. We even brought some in our car. Thanks Harrison village motel.
Was unsure about this place based on the reviews - definitely run down, but for a last minute place to stay on a busy Friday night in Harrison it did the trick. Staff were friendly and it had good pillows. The bathrooms need a serious overhaul, the paint is peeling off the walls and it looks like mold is forming. We also found plastic rings from a 6 pack on the floor that didn't belong to us. But the location is perfect, right on the beach and there was AC in the unit.
Poor quality, run down, light bulbs burn out in the hallway,, can't even see the key hole. Batteries are rotten inside the remote so I had to watch one TV channel all night. For what you paid for it's not worth it even if it's cheap, I rather sleep in a tent.Prime example of Hotel owners that don't care or give a s***.The place is a dump for Harrison Hot Springs standards and matches the other dumps in Fungus Foot Montana or Corn-hole Nebraska.
