Wow what a great little place. The new owners were absolutely terrific. Our family of four had a great time and they can expect us back next year.
This is our 5th visit to Harrison Heritage House and Cottages. Previously, we stayed in the beautiful honeymoon suite with the gigantic hot tub or one of the quaint cottages. Currently, our preference is the Rivers Edge Cottage as it boasts a large soaker tub. In general, we enjoy the solitude of the setting, the ambience and functionality of a gas fireplace, daylight windows, a comfy-cozy living room, a private bedroom with a comfy bed, and a small kitchen for homemade meals. We have never had occasion to use the 2 single beds upstairs, but they would greatly benefit a larger family. Good quality wifi reception further enhances our stay and being a mere 2 blocks from the lake means simply stepping outdoors for an enjoyable walk in the sun or rain.
What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be, we wanted to go to a different lake in WA, USA but couldnt find anything there and settled on this resort. It is a gem!!! We are a well traveled family, and isnt always easy to impress us. Our big family doesnt always fit well everywhere, this was such a perfect place. The stress of living a busy life left us as soon as we stepped out of the car. The grounds have mature landscaping with a few modern additions such as a gas fireplace and a bbq. Our kids loved the lawn activities Kairyn graciously put out for them the hammock was a favorite for all of us. We stayed at the cottage it has two bedrooms and two bathroom options (one of them is a water closet in the master bedroom you have to try to appreciate this rarity). The house is very comfy and cozy. Very well supplied, we cooked most of our meals and had everything at our fingertips. Kairyn is an amazing woman, she is kind, smart and a hard worker. She did everything to make us feel welcomed and happy and that is just we felt about our first time in Harrison Hot Springs. The only thing we all wished is to have had one more night at this resort to relax a bit more. We are already thinking about our next trip here, in fact our kids said on our way back home to make it a family tradition to come here once a year.

Amazing place and service, will come back. Quiet own place with kayaks and hammocks in the backyard, close to everything in town. Loved it as a couples get away.
